Biography
Eugene Braunwald, MD, MACC, was a distinguished cardiologist and a long-time member of the American College of Cardiology. Often referred to as the father of modern cardiology, his groundbreaking work included research in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and other specialties. He received his medical degree from New York University and completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
